I woke up with this in my head this morning. Every week TripleJ (the Australian national youth radio network) gets an act to perform a cover version live in the studio as part of their Like a Version series.

I’ve never really ‘got’ Lana Del Ray – but this cover is one of my current favourites. Haley Mary was lead singer of one of my favourite Sydney bands The Jezabels and all the solo stuff she has released so far has been pretty great.

This cover has a great feel – I love the way it builds and builds!
