I’ve felt a little lukewarm about Muse’s recent outings. Not that they were bad – just that they were not entirely to my taste. But this is both a return to form, and a natural progression of everything they’ve been doing. The riffs are strong, the synths are pulsing and amazing, the mood is epic.

And I’m here for it.
